Voluntary Submission

Profile Information:

Once a user, you may provide additional information in the Profile/Brochure/Web Page section describing your skills, professional experiences, and networking objectives. Providing additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional, but enables you to better identify yourself and find new opportunities in the Genie Network,  Division of Geni USA system. Your Profile information can only be viewed by other Genie Network,  Division of Geni USA users in your network and users of the Genie Member Section of the Genie Network website.  We make strong efforts to prevent and discourage users from placing home addresses and/or other contact information in their Profile to the public.

Information about your Contacts

In order to invite others to connect with you directly in Genie Network,  Division of Geni USA, you will enter their names and email addresses. This information will be used by Genie Network,  Division of Geni USA to send your invitation including a standard message and/or one that you write. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your invitation and reminders. 

We may also invite them to join our newsletter and update email system where they may opt in or out.You may also choose to manually enter or upload data about your contacts into the private “My Contacts” section of our website which is intended to be added to the website.  All information entered there will only be viewable by you and will not be searchable by others in the Genie Network,  Division of Geni USA  without your permission.  This will be available in the future.
